Like Edward Weston who had a love affair with Mexico and its people during a good part of his career, we journeyed to San Miguel in search of our own visions.

Al igual que Edward Weston, quien tenía un romance con México y su gente, nosotros viajamos a San Miguel de Allende en busca de nuestras propias inquietudes visuales.

The photographs in this catalogue were all taken during one glorious week. They are the product of a group of committed photographers who came together to expand their continuing body of portraits and figure studies. They all arrived with either books or portfolios, and their mission was to push themselves and their photographs into new realms. It was a magic time for all of us-this collection of images pays tribute to what we discovered.

Las fotografías que aparecen en este catálogo fueron tomadas durante unos días maravillosos; son el producto de fotógrafos comprometidos que, juntos, decidieron ampliar sus conocimientos sobre el estudio del retrato y la figura. Cada uno llegó con su portafolio y con la clara misión de la introspección y el análisis de su trabajo através de una nueva pespectiva.
